Mighty Box at Ars Electronica

We have just returned from presenting Will Love Tear Us Apart? at this year’s Ars Electronica festival, Total Recall, in Linz, Austria.  The festival has been running since 1979 and attracts over 35,000 people a year.   It was an absolute blast! 

It’s rare to find such a comprehensive program including several major exhibitions, countless musical and dance performances, a full animation festival, a conference, hands-on workshops and a pumping night programme with such an excellent DJ line-up.  This edition was particularly exciting for us since its featured artist was HR Giger, who made brief appearances at the program and had a fantastic exhibition including both paintings and models. Our game was shown at Ars Electronica’s stunning Deep Space facility: a 16 by 9 meter interactive, 3D screen.  Although we could not use its full facilities, WLTUA looked absolutely amazing at those gargantuan proportions.
