In February 2014 WLTUA made the finalists shortlist for the prestigious South By South West (SXSW) Interactive award. How cool is that? 

We are honoured to have been nominated for the Prix Innovation at the Festival Du Nouveau Cinema de Montreal with our game Will Love Tear Us Apart?. 

In April of 2014 WLTUA received a Webby Awards nomination, this time within the 'Games' category.

Will Love Tear Us Apart? has been released to worldwide acclaim in May 2013. It has been mentioned by several magazines worldwide, such as Spin, Paste, Rolling Stone, Kotaku and PC Gamer.

Will Love Tear Us Apart? is a free-to-play browser-game about relationships on the brink of breaking up. It is inspired by Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart and follows the song in delivering a dark and frustrating perspective on love. Each verse in the song is represented by a level in the game.

WLTUA encourages players to reflect on the darker side of love: mis-communication, emotional impasse and the sadness of separation. Solace may be found in the brief moment of lightness that comes over us when we come to terms with the reality of an irreconcilable relationship.

This is the original soundtrack of the game, entirely composed and recorded by our great resident musician, Thomas Cuschieri.
